Are all the products sold in the Museum Shop available online?
Our Museum Shop website offers a selection from the products found in person at our Museum Shop, including a variety of prints, books, toys, and accessories. In shop we carry a variety of handmade and one-of-a-kind items that are not available online. We encourage you to visit or give us a call at 817.989.5001 to order from our in-shop selection.
Does the Museum Shop sell reproductions on canvas of works from the Amon Carter Museum of American Art’s collection?
The Museum Shop does not offer canvas reproductions. We do carry a variety of paper prints in an 11-inch by 14-inch size.
I have a painting from your museum. What is it worth?
In the past the museum sold reproductions on canvas of several popular paintings. The reproductions were made on canvas and “Amon Carter Museum” was stamped on the back of each one. These reproductions are no longer for sale through the Museum Shop, but many are still in existence. However, they have not appreciated in value from their original selling price.
Online and over the phone we accept American Express, Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. In-store we also accept cash, checks, and contactless payment options such as tap, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and more.

I represent an organization with tax-exempt status. Can I place a tax-exempt order online?
The Museum Shop honors the tax-exempt status of eligible Texas institutions. However, we cannot process a tax-exempt order through the Museum Shop’s online store. Tax-exempt orders can be placed in person with a filled in Texas Sales And Use Tax Exemption Certificate from the purchaser. If you have questions, please contact the Museum Shop at [email protected]. Taxes do not apply on out-of-state orders.
Sending out a gift? We have you covered. Simply leave a comment at checkout and we will make sure to include a gift receipt with the order. No prices will be included. Would adding a note make it even better? Add your note in the comment section at checkout and we will handwrite a note just for them.
Please allow approximately 10 business days for shipping, though most orders will arrive sooner. The Museum Shop cannot process international orders or provide special shipping options such as 2-Day or 1-Day shipment.
How can I find out about the status of my order?
To inquire about an order, please email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please provide your order ID number found in your email order confirmation.
Will my order arrive in one package?
For the greatest care and protection in shipping, your items may be packaged in separate boxes. Please note that this will not affect your shipping charges (you will only be charged once for delivery of all shipments), but you may receive the boxes at various times or on different days.
Can my order be shipped to multiple addresses?
Orders placed through our online shop can only be shipped to a single address per order. To send gifts to more than one recipient, please place multiple orders with different shipping information for each address.
In-Shop Pickup Orders
Know just what you want but have a bit of a time crunch? Call our Museum Shop at 817.989.5001 and complete your order over the phone. We will hold orders for a business day, bag your items, and have them ready for you to pick up in-shop. Simply give a Sales Associate your name for pickup.
Online returns must be processed online and cannot be processed in our Museum Shop. Simply contact [email protected] to begin the process.
Returns are gladly accepted with receipt within 30 days of original purchase. The item returned must be in the condition in which it was sold and in its product packaging. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Returns will be credited in the original form of payment. Gift recipients are eligible for store exchanges. Sale items are non-returnable.
